Long time, no email! If you’re squinting at this like, “Who is Elsa Scola, and why is she emailing me?” let me jog your memory.

At one point in time you probably watched one of my YouTube videos and decided to subscribe to this newsletter, but I haven’t actually posted anything in here for the last 3 years… (awkward, I know).

For a while this newsletter has been collecting dust and emails (for some reason people kept subscribing to it) and now I don’t really know if you even want to be here 🤷🏼

So let me tell you a bit about what I’m planning to do with it so you can decide if you want to stay or leave (though I’d love it if you stayed 👉🏻👈🏻).

If you decide to stay, it means you’ll be officially part of my close-circle squad (that sounds cooler than “the people who haven’t subscribed yet,” right?).

You can expect:

• 🥸Technical content: my YouTube channel is a mix of software engineering & lifestyle. Which means I never go too technical in my videos. But I spend a big chunk of my life learning engineering stuff and I’d love to share some of that with you.

• 🚀Growth advice for Software Engineers: pretty self-explanatory.

• 🌀Random finds: A non-fiction book, a cool app I’m trying out, gadgets I like… — just random discoveries I make that I think can be helpful to other people.

• 🔥The latest news: if I ever organize an event or launch a product you’ll be the first to know and will get special offers and discounts.

I’ve decided to call this newsletter <Bit by Bit> because it’s all about growing incrementally as a software engineer—one bit at a time.
